Policy Guidelines for open access, data preservation and dissemination
Date and time: 25 September 2014, 9:00-17:00 in Amsterdam
Co-located with the 4th plenary meeting of the Research Data Alliance.
RECODE has provided a forum for European stakeholders in the open access ecosystem to work together on common solutions. Following the previous workshops, and the work that has been done so far towards policy recommendations for Open Access to Research Data in Europe, the RECODE project will culminate in a series of recommendations for a policy framework to support open access to European research data.
This final workshop is addressed to policy- and decision-makers within the following categories:
• Research funders
• Research performing organizations
• Data managers
• Scholarly societies
• Scholarly communication and research management experts
• Information specialists
A copy of the agenda can be found here.
We invite the above stakeholders and experts to provide their input to the project’s recommendations on open access to research data policies, and their implementation. Participants will be provided with a copy of the recommendations in advance of the workshop and invited to review and validate them. This open process is expected to enrich the recommendations further, giving participants the opportunity to make a direct contribution to the formulation of the policy recommendations and be part of the EU policy-making process.
We hope you will be able to join! To register please visit the RECODE website.
Workshop Location: Meervaart Conference Center, De Meervaart, Meer en Vaart 300, 1068 LE Amsterdam
